Aristotle said, “The more you know, the more you know you don’t know.”
As an entrepreneur trying to start your own business, you will learn that there is a lot for you to know and you will need to find ways to learn fast!
Do you need learn everything at once? most likely not and should not.
It’s not possible to learn everything and if you do try this route I bet you will burn-out fast and feel the urge to give up (happens to most startup entrepreneurs)
You will have to learn things you need the most about guiding your business the right way in due time.
How about things you don’t need to know yourself? Or don’t have the time nor the capacity to learn about?
This is where your networking, advisors and collaborative talents come into play.
Learn how to “delegate” tasks that need different skill sets or knowledge.
It’s almost impossible to do it all on your own, let alone mastering the required knowledge!
There are plenty of support systems out there that can help you with this.
You will find that there is someone out there willing to help you.
Maybe not for free all the time but enough to get you going the right way.
Networking, finding a “collaborative” environment and good passionate advisors are keys to success.
As your business evolves and matures you will have new challenges and new things to learn.
There will always be something new to learn. Embrace this process as a part of your entrepreneurship journey.
I have been involved with startups and growth businesses since the early 90s and I am still learning, possibly more now than ever!
Enjoy the ride.
