How much do you invest in yourself?

I read a recent article on Quartz about being like Bill Gates and Warren Buffett. You really don’t need to be like them as long as you realize (early) the value of your time!

I always say: “There is no ctrl-alt-del for resetting your time” it is crucial that you have a solid understanding of time management. Your time management.

As the article spells out, you need to invest in yourself and master as many subjects as possible. The key here is not to confuse mastering and expertise. You really do not need to be an expert in a subject to master it!
One addition to this article. I am an “adaptive generalist” I really did not and do not want to be an expert in one subject. I want to master enough of a subject so that I can properly address the key understanding
of the matter at hand. But, I leave the final solution creation to experts. Mastery of the subject matter also allows you to seek and find the right experts. So why be an expert in one subject when you can master
may subjects and lean on experts for each subject problem!

And, if you want to master your time management, reach out to me, I would be happy to share some of the techniques I used and shared with my colleagues and friends in the last decades.
