You had asked me to share with you my Time Management and Tracker process a while back. I dug up my old files and found them.

Here is the story behind my Time Tracker system:
Bear in mind this is a process I created way back in 1984, no smartphone, no internet wifi per say, no automation of any kind, everything was analog!

My first approach was to use Franklin Covey’s Time Management system (a 7″x9″ three ring binder) which I forced my first employer to buy and subscribe my entire Team to, later they implemented it company-wide.
The 3 ring binder was bulky and needed to have something really practical to carry in my pocket.

Thus, I created my Time Tracker on both sides of an 8.5×11 sheet of paper.
When I folded the page in a trifold fashion, it fit in my pocket and was very handy, plus I could access it everywhere.
I used this Time Tracker process from 1985 until 2001.

After that I loaded the same pages to my cell phone and started using it in the digital medium.
This process helped me immensely.

Many people who did not mind writing things down (which many people dislike… Like not liking reading books…) used my Tracker for many years. But as time progressed and digital media took over everything, usage of the Tracker faded away. I had also a young software developer write an app for it I think in 1999, but did not have the funds to launch it, things of that sort were expensive then, now you can have ChapGPT code for you!

I have attached below the front and back of the master page and the trifold views of each section.

Good old days…

Enjoy the reading. Let me know what you think about it.

All the best,
Hal
