Finally a business giant realizes that remote-work simply does not work. As I always tell my friends, colleagues and young entrepreneurs; “You cannot email a handshake”.
In 2009, 40% of IBM’s nearly 400,000 global employees worked from home. Now the remote-work pioneer has changed its mind about the value of in-person teamwork, asking some employees to move to cities where they can work side by side.
