The importance of R&D and business development is crucial for any advancement in trade and business for States.
This new report shows slow R&D growth in Illinois, despite key academic and business areas of strength. It seems like in Illinois we are doing a lot of R but not enough D. And, that my friends is not good for business.
We need to find ways of opening up the R portion of the equation which is still in “silos” to the world of entrepreneurship.
