As an investor, mentor and advisor in startups and new ideas I want to remind entrepreneurs:
“Opinions are plenty. Truths vary. The fact is one”.
The first is a fact that the deal flow is literally “immense” and you as a startup founder are not unique at all. (There is always someone else that can and will come up with a better mouse trap!)
The second; Well, the truth (if there is any) varies so much from reality, its’ not funny! So please stop bullshitting! And, most importantly Do Not Lie to yourselves!
And finally the last; Yes, indeed there is only one true fact, the rest is again total bullshit.
So there you go, make te best out of it. But remember that the majority of you will fail.
